Events and the promotion of "African Engineering"

The range of arts and culture fields covered by African Engineering offers a rich array of
of event varieties of which the main ones are:

  • Public readings and signing sessions: authors published by Editions AfricAvenir and other relevant authors offer public readings and signing sessions with high media coverage (TV, radio, print media, social networks).
  • Artistic exhibitions: exhibitions of sculptors, visual artists and painters, with highly publicised vernissages and finishings (TV, radio, written press, social networks).
  • Performances on stage: in the 200-seat African Genie auditorium, the musical artists, stylists and model designers offer concerts and fashion shows with high media coverage (TV, radio, written press, social networks).
  • Cultural evenings: African filmmakers, actors and storytellers offer film screenings, theatre productions and African tales in high-profile shows (TV, radio, written press, social networks).
  • International conferences: traditional and administrative authorities, professors, researchers and international experts take part in scientific and cultural speeches and exchanges, seminars and workshops with high media coverage (TV, radio, written press, social networks).

International conference in the large multipurpose hall (250 seats) on the subject of the project "Africa's Collective Memory", in international collaboration between the AfricAvenir International Foundation, Cameroon, the Gerda Henkel Stiftung, Düsseldorf, Germany, and the Phonographic Archives, Vienna, Austria, in the presence of delegations from Mali and the Gambia.
